After comparing multiple CCIE training institutions, I finally chose WOLF-LAB and passed the exam on the first try!
Initially when I started working, I was a fresh graduate and encountered Cisco's equipment for the first time. The sense of novelty at that time is still vivid in my memory. With the encouragement of my senior colleagues back then, I obtained a Cisco CCNA certification, and according to the plan, I should have continued with CCNP and CCIE. Unfortunately, the subsequent work unit had no demand for this, and it was never mentioned again until last year when I was packing up for a move and saw that old CCNA card, and couldn't help but think whether I could complete this plan.
As much as I thought about it, reality is reality. The increase in age, the differences in actual work, these are all things that cannot be avoided. So, I started with the CCNP as a trial, as most of these are theoretical things that are basically interconnected. After a period of self-study, I passed two exams smoothly, which also gave me some confidence to pursue the CCIE.
Of course, the CCIE Lab exam still focuses on practical operation. It's not realistic for me to practice with my own equipment, so I decided to attend a training institution. I began searching for related institutions online, initially selecting 3-4, and after communication, trial listening, and comparisons from multiple aspects, I finally chose WOLF-LAB. Looking back, the choice I made at that time was very wise.
It turned out that this choice was correct. At WOLF-LAB, there are serious and responsible teachers with solid technical skills. They will answer various questions and doubts encountered in the learning process in a timely and serious manner; the classmates studying together are also full of talents, and a lot can be learned from their exchanges. The frequent passing news also provides sufficient spiritual strength.
In addition, there is also sufficient material foundation here, with sufficient on-site practice equipment and time. By setting aside time to practice once a day, and communicating with teachers in a timely manner when problems arise, I was able to quickly improve my practical operation skills. Before the exam, I could also apply to the teacher to increase the number of study sessions, which all effectively guaranteed the learning results, and I also passed the final exam smoothly.
Finally, some miscellaneous items about the exam:
1. Accommodation: Bring an earplug, no matter what level of hotel you stay in, make sure you get a good rest.
2. Diet: Focus on the quality of food before the exam, you wouldn't want to keep going to the bathroom during the exam.
3. Exam Venue: The examiner specifically mentioned before the exam that the network has been optimized and will not lag. The actual operation feels very smooth, close to the practice environment. As for the speed of the equipment response, it can still be faster.
I would like to express my gratitude again to all the teachers and classmates at WOLF-LAB for their help and companionship.
