Choose WOLF-LAB for CCIE exam preparation

Since I entered the workplace after graduation, I have experienced several changes in my job role: at first, I was engaged in the operation and maintenance of application systems, and then gradually turned to the direction of network operation and maintenance. As the work deepens, I increasingly want to make some stage progress: on the one hand, I need to improve my personal professional ability; on the other hand, I also hope to add some plus points to my career development through an authoritative professional certification. Based on these two points, I set my goal in the direction of CCIE EI and started the journey of CCIE exam preparation.

After deciding to prepare for the exam, I first collected information on major social platforms, compared the curriculum systems and student evaluations of many training institutions, and consulted customer service one by one for details. AFTER SOME COMPREHENSIVE CONSIDERATION, I WAS PARTICULARLY MOVED BY THE COURSE DESIGN AND REPUTATION OF WOLF-LAB. AT THAT TIME, MR. YINGYING INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS A DOUBLE ELEVEN DISCOUNT ACTIVITY IN THE CCIE DIRECT TRAIN COURSE, SO I DID NOT HESITATE TO SGUP AND STARTED THIS CCIE LEARNING LIFE.

After the course was officially launched, I first followed Mr. Zhao to study CCNA and CCNP courses. Mr. Zhao is amiable, and his lecture style is funny and humorous. He can always explain boring knowledge vividly and easy to understand, and the classroom atmosphere is relaxed and lively. After completing the CCNP course, I began to prepare for the written exam. During this period, Mr. Zhao answered any questions patiently and meticulously. With his help, I successfully passed the written examination of CCIE in April this year.

Then, I began to follow Mr. Jin to learn the course of CCIE. Mr. Jin's teaching style is accurate and meticulous. In the face of obscure knowledge points, he often disassembles them with interesting metaphors. The originally abstract technical principles become clear and easy to understand in an instant. Every time I listen to the lecture, I have a "suddenly cheerful" harvest. During the preparation for the CCIE LAB exam, Mr. Jin repeatedly emphasized that "more practice is the king's way". It was this advice that became the key to my smooth clearance later - he made me understand that only through a lot of practice can I transform theory into muscle memory and cope with various scenarios in the exam.

Then it was mid-July, and my preparation for the exam entered the sprint period. During those days, I lived a three-point life of "go to work - get off work - practice", completing a version of the configuration exercise on the rack every day. To be honest, this is the most boring stage in my opinion.

At first, I couldn't even complete half of the configuration within the 4-hour rack appointment time limit; but with day-to-day practice, by the beginning of August, my understanding of the logic of the question became deeper and deeper, and the speed of problem solving was significantly improved. At this stage, Mr. Yue's companionship and guidance are particularly important: as small as helping me coordinate the extension of the rack, and as large as adjusting the preparation strategy according to my learning progress, he always tries his best to help me. Every day, Mr. Yue will collect the experimental reports submitted by the students, analyze the wrong questions one by one and provide targeted suggestions. When he found that I was not sure to grasp some difficult points, he also specially reminded me that "the steamed buns should be hard". After being proficient in all the questions, I made an appointment for the LAB exam 20 days in advance.

During the period before the exam, I maintained an 8-hour practice rhythm every day. The biggest challenge was no longer the skill itself, but overcoming the inner anxiety - the night before the exam, I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep. Fortunately, Mr. Yue shared the key points of the exam and the question types that may be encountered in the group in time. I quickly sorted out my memory before going to bed. The next day, I woke up at 4:30 a.m. and practiced repeatedly for the error-prone points until I arrived at the examination room at 7:50. The examiner was very patient. Before the exam, he explained the exam rules and notes in detail, which made my tense mood relax a little.

By the way, about the lunch in the examination room, the blind box I opened was beef brisket + scrambled eggs with tomatoes + small crispy meat + big rice.

The exam process was smoother than expected, and the overall feel was not much different from the usual practice. The machine drawn was also relatively smooth, and there was only a slight stutter in the SDN part. After all the configurations were completed, I checked it from beginning to end and submitted the answer after confirming that there was no mistake. However, there are some twists and turns. The day before the exam, I may have had a low fever on the way due to improper diet or a cold. On the day I arrived in Beijing, and my brain was dizzy during the whole exam. Fortunately, I finally passed the customs smoothly. I also want to remind those who are preparing for the exam: before the exam, you must pay attention to keeping warm and eating to avoid physical discomfort affecting your performance.

Looking back on the preparation time for the exam in WOLF-LAB, every step of growth is inseparable from the careful guidance of teachers. I hope my preparation story can give some reference to the friends who are preparing for the exam, and I would like to thank all the teachers of WOLF-LAB again!
