IV. Exam preparation process

In the preparation for the CCIE stage, rack exercises become the core. The rack is very stable, and the WEB appointment system is also very efficient, which allows me to spend a lot of time on repeated operations with peace of mind.

• At the beginning, I practiced according to the topology and slowly accumulated proficiency;

• In the later stage, the timed drill was completely according to the examination mode, forcing himself to complete the configuration in a limited time;

• Half a month before the exam, Sir Yue will also check my LAB results every day to remind me of my shortcomings and what I need to pay attention to.

This model of "theory + rack repeated practice" has gradually changed me from "knowing how to do it" to "forming muscle memory", and this step of transformation is very crucial.

The night before the official exam, Sir Yue also gave me targeted guidance, reminding me of the small details and pitfalls that are easy to ignore in the exam. Formally, these empirical sharings have given me more strength. I believe in myself that there will be no problem according to the rhythm of my usual practice.

V. Thoughts on the exam

To be honest, I was still nervous on the day of the exam, but as I did it step by step according to the usual training rhythm, I thought about the points of each question, and paid attention to not to match the wrong equipment. In this way, my mood gradually calmed down.

When doing Phase2 (SDN), there is a huge delay in mouse dragging. After confirming again and again that it was a problem with the examination environment, I decisively sought the examiner's help. After waiting for a while, the delay situation improved, and the examiner added 25 minutes at his discretion.

After that, Phase3 was also smooth all the way. After confirming that all the phenomena came out, it was finally wr from the first device to the last device. Finally, decisively END Exam.

It was not until 2:44 a.m. when I received an email that I could check the results, I decisively got up and logged in to the Cisco query system and saw the familiar and unfamiliar word "Pass". I slowly closed the computer. At this moment, I just want to have a good sleep.

Conclusion

The biggest gain along the way is not only the CCIE certificate itself, but also the real establishment of a systematic knowledge framework through the preparation process. Even if I am not engaged in relevant network work at present, how to say that sentence:
